Washing instructions & product care

Proper care is essential to maintain the quality, color, and embellishments of your RC Leotard. Please follow these washing instructions carefully to ensure longevity and durability.

General care guidelines

• Gymnastics leotards require delicate handling. Fabrics with holograms, metallic finishes, and rhinestones are fragile and may react to sweat, deodorant, and friction.
• Always remove your leotard from your bag immediately after training and hang it out to air.
• Do not soak your leotard in water.

Washing instructions

✔ Use a delicate wash cycle (max. 30°C, hand wash or silk program).
✔ Turn the leotard inside out and place it in a laundry bag.
✔ Use a mild, liquid detergent (e.g., Neutral Colour) and a color catcher cloth.
✔ Do not use fabric softener, as it can weaken adhesives and cause embellishments to detach.
✔ Remove the leotard immediately after washing—do not let it sit wet in the machine.

Drying instructions

✔ Do not tumble dry.
✔ Do not wring out the leotard.
✔ Hang the leotard to dry naturally—do not hang if it’s dripping wet.
✔ To remove excess moisture, roll the leotard between two towels, then hang it to air dry.

What not to do

❌ Do not iron.
❌ Do not use bleach or chlorine-based detergents.
❌ Do not scrub, rub, or scratch the fabric.
❌ Do not dry clean.

Important notes on product durability

• Crystal embellishments are not guaranteed to stay fixed permanently—wear, washing, and handling may cause some to loosen over time.
• RC Leotards is not responsible for fabric damage caused by improper washing, deodorants, or friction from mats and Velcro.
• Fabrics like mesh, metallic, and velvet are delicate and will show signs of wear faster than other materials.
